Since 1976, Dr. McCartney has worked in the field of intuition as a medical intuitive in an integrative health clinic, a pastoral counselor, author and educator. In 1984, Francesca McCartney founded the Academy of Intuition Medicine in Mill Valley, California USA.
Francesca synthesizes her thirty years of study in Eastern and Western spiritual and healing arts into a multi-modality approach which grounds her in respectfulness for the uniqueness of the individual. From her pastoral counseling and medical intuitive work with thousands of clients Francesca developed the Intuition Medicine curriculum.

Dominic Vucci MIM
Intuitive Consultant | Practicum Host | Adjunct Faculty
As a long-standing practitioner, meditation class teacher and faculty member at the Academy, Dominic brings a calm and relatable approach to his teaching and mentoring. Graduating his first MIM program in 1990, Dominic continued as a student by repeating the entire program and assisting senior teachers as a Teaching Assistant (TA) before taking over teaching duties for the Professional Tools course, which in part, helps to train future TAs in their role as mentors for newer students.
Dominic has a passion for engaging others in the process of self-discovery, healing and change. Using metaphor, stories, insights and practical tips he is often able to help bring new perspectives and understandings, in-turn helping others to deepen their own practices.
Always enjoying the sense of community shared at the Academy, Dominic hosts the Wednesday night Practicums and now teaches Saturday Alumni Seminars at the Academy in Sausalito, CA, which will carry forward a rich tradition at the Academy of extending advanced support for alumni to continue their learning, growth and professional practice.

Gregor Nelson MIM
Intuitive Counselor | Adjunct Faculty
Gregor first came to the Academy in 1990, graduating with the 4th MIM class, and returned for MIM 20. He has been a MIM tutor for many years. He has been in the graphic communications industry as a lettering artist, designer, illustrator, writer and editor for over 30 years. He has a private energetic healing practice, offering in-person and long-distance intuitive consultations, and is a yoga instructor.
Since 2005 Gregor has been a volunteer field rescuer and raptor handler at the Bird Rescue Center in Santa Rosa, CA. He lives in Healdsburg with his wife (and MIM graduate) Christina.

Jennifer Constantin RN, BSN, MIM
Nurse | Adjunct Faculty
Jennifer co-founded an aesthetic medicine practice in 2005 where she is an aesthetic nurse specialist and COO. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco and is a 2011 graduate of the Master Certificate in Intuition Medicine® program.
Jennifer worked in the critical care training program at USCF Medical Center where she worked in the Adult Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit for five years, receiving the National Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses in 2003. After caring for several burn patients Jennifer was inspired to explore non-invasive procedures for skin rejuvenation with the desire to not only to restore her patient’s skin but also their spirit.
As an intuitive working in the medical profession, she was led to the Academy of Intuition Medicine® in 2008, where she is currently a senior teaching assistant in the MIM program. Her passion is to understand a client’s core desire while providing a truly supportive environment for inner and outer transformation. Jennifer uses Intuition Medicine® tools to see people as multi-dimensional and has a deep reverence for holding space to honor their individuality and journey to a deeper sense of self.

Maile Hatfield BA, MIM
Intuitive Consultant | Adjunct Faculty
Maile is an Academy Senior Teaching Assistant. As an Intuition Medicine® practitioner she works with clients facing chronic illness or life/death transitions, facilitating energy healings, clearing physical spaces, and providing spiritual counseling.
A former US lobbyist, public relations director, and entertainment business manager, Maile is now an executive producer of large-scale corporate marketing events. Her experience in working with diverse energies, crowded spaces, and facilitating clear communications in business inspires her to bring harmony and balance in the lives of her clients and students.

Dr. Andrea Natta received both her master’s (2001) and doctoral (2012) degrees from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. She offers insight through her MIM training (2014) and her 25 years of experience working with the tarot.

Kirk Hurford MIM

Since completing the MIM program in 2003, Kirk has enjoyed helping Academy Students as a Senior Teaching Assistant, tutor, and mentor. “The Academy is a new path for many of its students. I enjoy being available as a guide during this extraordinary journey.”
Kirk is a software developer, writer, and member of the executive staff for several technology-based companies.

Jacqueline S Chan DO, MIM
Faculty | Integrative Medicine Physician | Energy Medicine Practitioner
Dr. Jacqueline Chan made a conscious choice to integrate two empirically verifiable truths: a specific compound, herbal or pharmaceutical, can help “cure” an illness; mental thoughts and cellular trauma or feelings locked in the body can both cause illness and heal illness.
She graduated from Mount Holyoke College magna cum laude in philosophy then did a short stint in an MBA finance program on Wall Street in New York City. Jacqueline decided her true calling was in medicine. In 1994 she graduated from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Jacqueline is board certified in Integrative Holistic Medicine and Neuromusculokeletal Medicine. Dr. Chan spent 18 years honing her skills as an integrative physician by studying herbs, functional medicine, heavy metal detox, osteopathic manipulation, nutrition, bio-identical hormone balancing, and functional lab analysis.
In 2012 she collaborated on a research study on chronic disease with Beverly Rubik, PhD at the Institute of Frontier Science. In 2013, she graduated from the Academy of Intuition Medicine® trained as a Medical Intuitive and remote healer. In 2014 she completed a Transformative Leadership Training; and created a Chakra Doctor Series and Energetic Boundaries Course within a yoga teacher-training program. Dr. Chan’s goal is to connect the patient to their truth, wisdom and own innate healing force within their body. As a holistic medicine physician, she believes that compassion, presence, and grace are crucial healing forces along with intelligently applied clinical knowledge.

Ian Magnus, MIM
Energy Medicine Practitioner | Adjunct Faculty
Ian first attended the Academy in 1988, graduating with MIM 3 Class of 1990. Twenty years later, Ian woke up and rejoined the Academy. He graduated once again in MIM 24 Class of 2010. Determined to stay awake, Ian repeated MIM classes, trained as a teaching assistant, and was invited to join the Academy faculty. His wisdom gift to the Academy was founding the Practicum program.
After a pictorial career as a graphic designer, he returned to his roots in horticulture, managing a commercial nursery and later, a landscape company. In 2013, he found himself called to Australia where he now manages a 28-acre biodynamic farm in southeastern Victoria. He continues to serve the Academy community as a tutor and member of the Ethics Counsel.
